Water is a right, not a privilege

After seeing the movie Flow – For the Love of Water, I signed a petition that respectfully calls upon the United Nations to add a 31st article to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, establishing access to clean water as a human right, not a privilege.

I hope you agree with me that water is a right and not a privilege, and that this addition to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights represents the first step toward the goal of water for all– please join me!

Big milestone today! More than 2000 Cradle to Cradle Supporters are registered. These are people who want radical change of business. Let’s stop making wrong things more efficient. Stop end-of-pipe solutions. Start using current solar income. Design products, processes and businesses in closed loops with the end in mind. Waste could equal food. Celebrate diversity!

Growing Cradle to Cradle Supporters network

Three months ago, I started c2c-supporters.org. Today, it already has almost 500 registered supporters on many different of the social networks on the internet. Especially the supporters on Linkedin is doing great – see the graph below.

Five hundred supporters is great, but why not 500.000 supporters? Who is favor of an economy based on solar income, cyclic production and consumption processes that prevent depletion and pollution by design? Exactly, who wouldn’t? Become a supporter too and be an ambassador!

Evert van Voorthuysen (directeur van de Stichting ter bevordering van Grootschalige Exploitatie van Zonne-ENergie) nodigt iedereen uit om de volgende tekst aan zijn/haar ondertekening toe te voegen:

“Invest 1% of Global GDP in Concentrating Solar Power (CSP) – start right now!”

Op deze manier zal het de leden van de Tweede Kamer duidelijk worden dat er heel wat meer moet gebeuren dan alleen maar een motie aan te nemen, en daarna over te gaan tot de orde van de dag.
